The market
What is different about Phoenix
Phoenix has a large customer-operations sector alongside growing semiconductor manufacturing, which produces a distinctive request pattern: internal tools for large hourly workforces, and the integration work that makes them useful.
Outbound contact is a common requirement and a common liability. TCPA carries statutory damages per call or message, and consent capture and revocation need to be designed as first-class parts of the system rather than a checkbox.
Manufacturing growth brings the other half: shop-floor systems, quality tracking and the integration between operational technology and business systems that most enterprise architectures never anticipated.
What it changes
How that shapes the work
TCPA consent is a system, not a checkbox
Capture, storage, revocation and proof all have to work, because statutory damages are per contact. Retrofitting consent tracking after a complaint is the expensive route.
Tools for hourly workforces are different
High turnover means the interface must be learnable in a shift, not a week. That is a real design constraint and it changes what good looks like.
OT and IT rarely speak
Shop-floor systems were not built to integrate with business systems. Bridging them is most of the work in manufacturing engagements, and it is where the estimate lives.
Regulation
What comes up disproportionately here
- TCPA
- HIPAA
- SOC 2
- PCI DSS
