Video Production
Video made for where it will actually be watched.
Brand, Design & Creative
Overview
The best use of motion graphics is explanation. A complex product, a process with several stages, data that changes, a system with parts users never see — these are genuinely hard to convey in static form and straightforward in motion. That is where animation pays for itself.
The work happens before animation begins. Script, structure and storyboard determine whether the piece communicates; the animation determines whether it holds attention. We spend disproportionate effort on those first stages because a beautifully animated confusing explanation is still confusing.
We also handle interface and brand motion — the small, systematic animation that makes a product feel considered. Transition timing, easing curves, loading states and micro-interactions, defined as a system so they stay consistent across a product rather than being invented per screen.
Business benefits
Structure resolved before animation starts, because that is what determines whether the piece actually explains anything.
Software workflows, mechanical internals, chemical processes and abstract systems shown clearly in ways photography cannot.
Lottie and SVG animation for interface use — a fraction of the weight of video with sharpness at any resolution.
Defined easing, duration and transition rules so the interface moves consistently rather than differently on every screen.
One production yielding versions for web, social, presentation and trade show, cut for how each is actually watched.
Captions, reduced-motion alternatives and no reliance on motion alone to convey meaning.
Problems solved
“Prospects do not understand what our product does.”
A structured explainer that shows the problem, the mechanism and the outcome in ninety seconds — usually the fastest comprehension gain available.
“Our interface feels abrupt and cheap.”
A motion system with considered easing and transitions, which changes perceived quality substantially for very little engineering cost.
“Our video files slow the site down.”
Replace video with Lottie or SVG animation where appropriate — dramatically lighter, resolution-independent and controllable in code.
“Sales presentations do not hold attention.”
Targeted animated sequences for the parts that are hardest to explain verbally, integrated into the existing deck.
Our process
What must the viewer understand or do afterward, and what is the single idea the piece has to land.
Written script timed to length, then storyboards establishing visual approach and pacing before production.
Style frames establishing the visual language, approved before animation to avoid expensive late changes.
Production with review rounds at rough and refined stages, plus sound design and voiceover where required.
Format variants for each channel, captions, source files and implementation support for web or product use.
Technologies used
Chosen for maintainability and hiring depth rather than novelty. We will justify any choice on request, and we avoid technology that makes you dependent on us.
Industries served
Sector context changes what good looks like. These are the industries where we have delivered this service repeatedly.
Why Mova
The same commitments apply to every engagement, regardless of size or service.
We scope a fixed-price starting point so you can evaluate us on motion graphics before committing to a program.
The team you meet is the team that delivers. You will know exactly who is accountable.
Code, accounts, files and documentation are yours from day one, with no lock-in of any kind.
We baseline before starting and report against it honestly — including the months that fall short.
Questions
The questions we are asked most about motion graphics, answered directly.
A 60–90 second animated explainer typically runs $8,000–$25,000 depending on style complexity and whether custom illustration or 3D is involved. Simpler kinetic typography pieces cost considerably less.
