What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. Similar technologies — localStorage, sessionStorage and pixels — serve comparable purposes. This policy covers all of them.
What this site uses
Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off through a consent banner. They do not track you across sites.
- mova-theme (localStorage, persistent) — remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme.
- mova-intro (sessionStorage, cleared when you close the tab) — records that you have already seen the loading animation so it does not repeat.
- Security and load balancing — set by our hosting and CDN providers to route requests and mitigate abuse.
Analytics
We use privacy-conscious analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate — which pages are read, where visitors arrive from, and where the experience breaks down. These are set only where you have consented, or where applicable law permits them without consent. They are not used to build advertising profiles.
Marketing
Where we run paid campaigns, advertising platforms may set cookies to measure whether an ad led to an inquiry. These are set only with consent and can be withdrawn at any time. We do not sell or share the resulting data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
What this site does not use
- Session replay tools that record your keystrokes or screen.
- Data brokers or identity resolution services that de-anonymize visitors.
- Social media tracking pixels on every page as a default.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings — every major browser allows you to block or delete them. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works, for example by not remembering your theme choice.
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
We honor Global Privacy Control signals where applicable law requires it, so enabling GPC in your browser will register an opt-out without any further action from you.
Changes
When we add or remove a technology, we update this page. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
